Ramadan and EID
During the month of Ramadan, where Muslims have to fast from sunrise to sunset for 30 days. At Alumwell Junior, we have been doing various activities to celebrate and celebrate this special time for those who are of the Islam faith. Ramadan is about charity so the School Council decided that each class was to raise money to adopt an animal of their choice, which were endangered. The animals are part of the WWF charity which look at supporting those animals that could become extinct. Also, on EID across the school did various craft alongside the EID celebrations.
