Class 2
Class 2 have been won the Times Table Rockstars competition for a second week running. Now winning it 3 times! Super proud of all their hard work!
Class 2 are so happy because we won this weeks Times Table Rockstars competition across the school! Super proud of all of them. The trophy will take pride and place in our classroom.
Today we had Roman guest! He showed us all about Roman life, we made Aqueducts, looked at artefacts and did some drama pieces too. We had lots of fun!
As part of our History Topic on the Romans, we built our own Roman roads and some us even enjoyed eating them after!
Welcome to Class 2!
It has been a lovely start to the term. Now we are all settled, here are some things it is important to know for the year ahead:
PE
Bring your PE kit to school on Thursday and take it home to wash on Friday.
Our usual PE days are Thursday and Friday.
Reading
Please bring your reading record and reading book to school everyday so that we can hear you read.
Grown ups - please hear your children read every day and sign your child's reading record.
Spellings
Spellings will be taught and practice activities sent home on a Monday. The children will be tested on them the following Monday.
Times Table Rockstars
Children all have logins for Times Table Rockstars. They must try to access Times Table Rockstars as much as possible. We have ongoing competitions in class and across the school for this.
