Today we learnt some circus skills from Lucas Jett, we did plate spinning and juggling just to name a few.
Today on the 8th March it is International Womens day. We discussed in class who is our inspiration and who we aspire to be like.
Today we celebrated World book Day and dressed up as words. We enjoyed 3 new stories and completed various creative activities with them.
Today we had an Ancient Egyptian Day we were made Egyptian Necklaces, went on a crack the code Escape room Adventure and acted out as famous Gods and Goddesses. We absolutely loved the day!
This term we are looking at kindness. We decided to create a kindness tree and share it with all our ideas of how we can show kindness in and around school.
We have finished our Shelters today we are very proud of what we have achieved
After doing our movie afternoon for our 3 year old boy for a local charity. We raised £53.70 and decided to not only buy for a 3 year old child but also a teenage boy too. I am so proud of Class 8 for their generous nature and kindness.
We have been building our shelters this week as part of our DT week we are so proud of what we have achieved in one week from sawing wood to gluing cardboard we have done it all.
As part of Remembrance Day and our World War topic we created this amazing dedication to those who were were killed in battle.
We had a visit from Jeff Rich who is a famous drummer from the band Status Quo. He came to give us a drumming workshop.
This week we have been looking at structures in DT. We are doing this to prepare for our Shelters that we are building for DT week.
In Science we have been looking at different types of fossils and we decided to make our own out of salt dough.
